Thank you for choosing PiCoMap as your concept mapping software.

This document contains information on installing and the basic
instruction for using PiCoMap.  Also included are any known
problems you many encounter while using PiCoMap.

If you experience a problem with PiCoMap which you cannot correct
please refer to the contact information near the end of this
document.

A. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
=======================

-  Palm Compatible Handheld with OS version 3.1 or higher

-  Palm Desktop Software with compatible Windows or Macintosh
computer (for .prc file installation)

-  31 KB memory for full installation


B. INSTALLATION
===============

Windows-based PC: Double-click the PiCoMap setup.exe file, follow the
prompts and this will install PiCoMap on your Palm Handheld the
next time you Hotsync to your Windows computer.

Macintosh: Double-click the PiCoMap Installer file, follow the
prompts and this will install PiCoMap on your Palm Handheld the
next time you Hotsync to your Macintosh computer.


C. GENERAL PICOMAP INFORMATION
=============================

PiCoMap is a comprehensive program for secondary education that
allows kids to create, share, and explore concept maps on their
Palm OS. This program allows its users to create a center node
and relate multiple nodes to create elaborate concept maps.
PiCoMap also gives the options of beaming to other children,
the teacher, printing directly with the infrared port, syncing
with a desktop computer, or posting to the web.
